Avionics / MIL-Spec Battery Receptacles
Rebling is the only manufacturer in the world certified to produce high-current DC connectors for flying vehicles (military, commercial, passenger, cargo, fixed wing, rotary wing, RPAs/Drones). Rebling’s technology, quality, and reliability can be summed up in one statement: “35 billion air miles per year without a failure.” All the models of our two-pole, avionics-grade, quick disconnect, bulkhead-mounted receptacles are designed to mate with our 7007, 7013, 7016, and 7017 avionics-grade, cable-mounted plugs.
The members of our avionics family of connectors conform to and are QPL’d to Mil Specs MS25182, MS3509, Mil-PRF-18148, Mil-E-18148, Mil-E-81099 and are available under Rebling’s Cage Code 30525. 81099 and are available with a variety of termination options and in a variety of colors. These same Style 1 receptacles are offered with threaded, right-angle terminal adapters which are explained on our Receptacles with Rear Adapters page and can be used with the gaskets shown on our Gaskets page. A Style 1 receptacle has a smaller footprint than a Style 2 receptacle but the contact centerlines are identical and both Style 1 and Style 2 receptacles mate with the exact same cable-mounted plugs. Both Style 1 & Style 2 fall under the 7002 Series Battery Receptacles.
If your application is ground-based (not on a flying vehicle) and requires the same level of reliability and tool-less connect and disconnect capabilities, see our "Double Pole Cable-to-Panel" product page for a Commercial version of this Avionics connector. Our Commercial grade receptacle has six color-coded mechanical keying combinations which can be used to differentiate various voltage or current levels to prevent errors by your system assembly, operations or maintenance personnel.

8002 Receptacle and 8003 PlugThe 8002 panel-mounted Receptacle and the 8003 cable-mounted Plug were defined in 1954 by MIL-B-83769 & MS3349-3 and were adopted on the C-130 transport plane in 1957. The configuration and MIL SPECs of these connectors were superseded in 1960 by MIL-PRF-18148 which established Rebling's Style 1 Avionics Receptacles and Plugs as the new Avionics Battery connection standard.Learn More ← Performance, dimensions, accessories, and P/Ns → Datasheet Available exclusively through our authorized distributor, Flame Enterprises.
