Gauge 29

The Gauge 29 is a fixture used for checking the wear on the contact sockets of the 7000 series connectors. It is also used to check the internal diameter of the contact sockets.

Worn or damaged contacts can cause increased contact resistance between power connectors. A high contact resistance will cause voltage loss, as well as possible failure of the product. If the contact sockets on any of the 7000 series high power connectors do not pass the gauge, the unit should be replaced. Constructed from hardened stainless steel, Gauge29 is a reliable, robust, long-term solution for inspecting power connector sockets.

PLEASE NOTE: Only the Ø.370 end of the fixture should be used on Rebling Power Connectors’ 7000 series plugs.
